The equivalent of one pound of raw salmon goes into the making of each medium bag. Yappetizers salmon infused with blueberries dog treats are dehydrated over a long period, re most of the moisture. This long dehydration process allows the treat to be shelf-stable for around two years without the use of harmful preservatives.

Can Dogs Eat Salmon?

Salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids and is low in calories. These fatty acids support your dog’s immune system and may help with inflammation in the joints. Salmon is also a good protein source and can help keep your dog’s coat shiny and healthy. Like most things in life, moderation is the key. Dog treats should be used as supplemental feeding only.

Are Blueberries Healthy for Dogs?

Blueberries are great for dogs in many ways. Blueberries contain antioxidants, fibre and Vitamins C and K. These nutrients can help support your dog’s immune system and help contribute to overall health.

How are these treat made?

Yappetizers pure grain-free dog treats are made with 100% pure wild salmon. Depending on the season and supply, various salmon species may be used. These treats can be made with either pink salmon, sockeye salmon or chum. All fish is headed and gutted, leaving just the fish’s best nutritional parts. The fish is then hand-formed, placed on racks, and dehydrated for over 20 hours to ensure shelf stability. The products are then packaged in a CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection) certified facility and shipped to your furry friends.
